Timed auctions with a fair finish

Each auction runs for 1 to 7 days, as the seller chooses. Everyone sees the same countdown, and the highest bidder when it reaches zero wins the car.

    Under an hour. The timer turns amber.

  3. Final call

    Under 10 minutes. A bid in the last 2 minutes adds 2 minutes.

Every car is listed the same way, so you can compare cars quickly and bid with confidence.

  1. Photos from every angle

    Outside, inside and the dashboard, plus close-ups of any damage the seller declares.

  2. Inspection score

    An optional check by a partner garage, scored from 1 to 10. The full report is one tap away.

  3. Verified seller, no contact details

    You see that the seller is verified and where the car is. Names and numbers stay private: all messages go through GOC.

  4. Current bid and time left

    The live price, the number of bids and the countdown. A bid in the last 2 minutes adds 2 minutes.

  5. Minimum price status

    If the seller set a hidden minimum price, you see whether it has been reached, never the amount.

  6. Your total before you bid

    Your plan's buyer fee (5% on Basic, 3.5% on Business) is added up front, so you know exactly what you will pay GOC if you win.

Buy a car in four steps

From the first search to the keys in your hand, Going Once Cars sits between you and the seller.

  1. Step 1

    Find a car

    Filter by country, price and fuel. Listings show photos from every angle, a list of any damage and often a garage inspection report.

  2. Step 2

    Bid live

    Choose a yearly plan in your account; the card you pay with is saved for bidding. Bid step by step, set a maximum and let auto-bid do the rest, or take the car at once with Buy Now when the seller set a price.

  3. Step 3

    Pay Going Once Cars

    When you win, pay us, never the seller: by card or bank transfer, within 3 business days. We hold the money until you collect the car.

  4. Step 4

    Pick up with your handover code

    Choose a pickup time. At the handover you both sign the sale contract GOC prepares, and the seller enters your 6-character code.

    Scan your registration document or enter the VIN and we fill in the details. A photo guide shows you the shots buyers look for.

  2. Buyers compete

    Bidders with an active plan compete for 1 to 7 days, so every bid is serious.

  3. Optional hidden minimum price

    Bidders don't see it. If bidding ends below it, you have 24 hours to accept or decline the top bid.

  4. Paid 1–2 business days after handover

    The buyer pays Going Once Cars first. At pickup you check their ID, sign the GOC contract and enter their handover code. We pay you the price minus the €50 success fee.

Why do I need a plan to bid?

A yearly plan keeps bidding serious. Basic is free for 14 days, then €9.99 a year, with a 5% buyer fee; Business costs €49.99 a year, with no free trial, a 3.5% buyer fee, priority support and priority alerts. You choose your plan in your account on this website. The card you add is saved for your bids, and you can bid in the app as soon as the plan is active.

What fees do I pay?

Listing a car is free; sellers pay a €50 success fee only when the car sells, taken from the payout. To bid you need a yearly plan: Basic (14 days free, then €9.99 a year) or Business (€49.99). If you win, you pay a buyer fee of 5% on Basic or 3.5% on Business, at least €99. Sellers can also order an inspection report (€39). There are no other fees.

How does payment work?

When you win, you pay Going Once Cars, never the seller: the final price plus the buyer fee, by card or bank transfer, within 3 business days. We hold the money and pay the seller 1–2 business days after the handover.

What if the winner doesn't pay?

The sale is cancelled and we may suspend the winner's account. We offer the seller the next-highest bid, or the seller can relist the car for free.

What is in an inspection report?

A partner garage checks the engine and gearbox, brakes and suspension, electronics and lights, tyres, the underbody and rust, and whether the mileage matches the service records. The car gets a score out of 10, shown on the listing. The seller pays €39.

How do pickup and the handover code work?

After you pay, choose one of the pickup times we offer. You get a 6-character handover code. At the handover the seller checks your ID, you both sign the sale contract GOC prepares, and the seller enters your code. Only then do we pay the seller.

Can you deliver the car to me?

Not yet. Delivery to your city by a GOC partner is coming soon. For now, you collect the car at the pickup time you book.

What are Buy Now and fixed-price listings?

Some sellers add a Buy Now price to their auction, and some sell at a fixed price with no bidding. Press Buy now and the car is held for you for 15 minutes while you pay by card (bank transfer isn’t available for Buy Now). Pay in time and the car is yours: you then book the pickup and collect it with your handover code, like any car you win. If you don’t pay, the listing simply continues; three unpaid Buy Nows within 30 days pause Buy Now on your account (bidding isn’t affected). On auctions, Buy Now is offered until bids reach 80% of the Buy Now price.

Who sells the cars?

Verified private sellers and dealers. Going Once Cars doesn't own the cars: we run the auction, hold the buyer's payment, prepare the sale contract and pay the seller after the handover.

Where do you operate?

We open first in Albania and Kosovo. North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Bulgaria follow, market by market.

When can I start bidding?

Sign-ups are open. Create your free account, choose a plan, and you can bid in the Going Once Cars app as soon as the plan is active. We open first in Albania and Kosovo.

Where do I buy a plan, and can I cancel it?

In your account on this website, with a card; payments are processed by Stripe. Basic starts with 14 days free: cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. Sign in to the app with the same account and the plan is already there. You can turn off renewal or change your card at any time under Manage plan and card; the plan stays active until the end of the year you paid for.
